Those who are considered ideal candidates for Versa injection treatments are patients who wish to smooth facial fine lines and wrinkles and restore volume to areas of their face. Versa is especially useful for increasing volume in the lips and cheeks and reducing the prominent facial wrinkles known as smile lines or laugh lines. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should plan to have their Revanesse Versa injections after delivery (or after they have concluded breastfeeding). Potential patients should not be allergic to hyaluronic acid products or have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation. During your consultation, a member of our team will discuss your aesthetic goals and medical history to determine if Versa is an ideal injectable for you.

Once we have determined that Versa is right for you, we can (in most cases) perform your treatment the same day. Prior to your treatment, you will be asked to relax calmly in a treatment chair while your skin is cleansed and the entry points are marked. We will apply a topical anesthetic to your skin, which we will allow to absorb prior to beginning your injections. Finally, a member of our team will perform your injections. Depending on the number of areas being treated and how many injections are needed to achieve the desired results, your procedure could last between 15 – 20 minutes. Once the treatment is complete, you will be released to return to your normal activities.

After your injections are complete, you may be slightly red, bruised, and/or swollen. These symptoms are typically minor and can be relieved with a cold compress and anti-inflammatory medications, such as Tylenol. The results of your injections should be obvious within a week or so of your treatment with outcomes that last up to six months!
