Wear Compression Garments
Compression garments, like surgical bras, help reduce swelling, bruising and even scarring after your breast lift. You may have the swelling and bruising for a week or 2 after your breast lift, which is normal for any surgical procedure.
By applying continuous pressure to the surgical site, compression garments can aid drainage and circulation, potentially reducing fluid collection and blood clot formation.
Avoid Strenuous Activity
You can resume most daily activities right away, but you should avoid strenuous activity for 6 weeks. This includes upper-body exercises and lifting anything over 10 pounds.
Light exercises like walking are generally okay, especially after the second week. However, more strenuous activity can interfere with your healing by adding unnecessary stress to your body.
Sleep On Your Back
