When you first arrive for your appointment, we answer any questions you may have while preparing you for anesthesia. Depending on how extensive your procedure needs to be, we can put you under either general or twilight anesthesia. After receiving twilight anesthesia, you will still be awake enough to respond to questions and instructions. However, you will still be in a sleepy state and numbed to pain.

Finally, he relocates the nipple to a more appropriate position to address the appearance of sagging if needed.

You will need about 3 to 7 days of recovery after your surgery for gynecomastia in Port St. Lucie, depending on the technique used. Once your procedure is complete, we give you a medical chest wrap that helps reduce swelling. If you have received a more invasive surgery, you may require a drainage tube. Dr. S. You can notice an immediate change after your chest surgery, however you will not see full results for a few months. After the starting recovery period, you will need another 7 to 10 days before the initial results have settled.
