Dr. S. Darrell Lee celebrates 25 years as physician

S. Darrell Lee, M.D., the founder of Lee Plastic Surgery & Laser Center in Port St. Lucie and Jupiter, is celebrating 25 years as a physician.

Lee graduated from New York Medical College, where he also completed his residency training in general surgery. He earned his board certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery and completed his Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Today Lee is an ambassador of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is the official plastic surgeon of the St. Lucie Mets.

He has held the position of Chief of the Medical Staff at St. Lucie Medical Center, served as Chairman of the Credentialing Committee and Chief of Surgery. He is an accomplished board certified plastic surgeon and holds privileges at Jupiter Medical Center, St. Lucie Medical Center, Lawnwood Medical Center & Heart Institute, and Martin Health System. In addition, Lee also participates at the Martin Wound Care Center.

Lee Plastic Surgery & Laser Center is an award-winning medical practice that has been recognized with the Patients Choice Award, Most Compassionate Doctor, Best Plastic Surgeon and People’s Choice Awards.

Lee is very active throughout our community. He and his wife Tricia support numerous charitable and civic organizations. Tricia has served as event chair for the last two Boys & Girls Clubs Steak & Stake dinners and Lee has been the title sponsor. He has also been instrumental in the development of a mentoring program through the Education Foundation of St. Lucie County and the Boys & Girls Clubs.
